Zoompass takes the security of each of its user's data very seriously.
We use several techniques to protect against unauthorized use.
HOW WE PROVIDE SECURITY
Advanced Encryption Technology: Zoompass uses multiple layers of advanced encryption algorithms to prevent transmitted data from being intercepted or compromised. Encryption technology is used for securing transactions between the Zoompass mobile application and the Paymobile server systems.
PIN-Based System: We provide protection against unauthorized use through a PIN-based system. Users select their own Zoompass PIN during the registration process and cannot complete registration until they set that PIN. The Zoompass PIN is required for logging in to the Zoompass mobile application and mobile site, and it must be entered to authenticate transactions (sending, requesting, or transferring money) when using Zoompass on the mobile phone. It is important that users make every effort to protect their Zoompass PIN at all times.
Sign-On Credentials: When using the Zoompass website, users must log in to their account using the username and password selected by them during the registration process. To use the Zoompass mobile application or mobile site, users log in to their account using their username and Zoompass PIN. Zoompass users should not share their username, password, or Zoompass PIN with anyone. No one from Zoompass will ever need to ask for a user's password or Zoompass PIN when servicing their account.
Card Protection: The Zoompass Prepaid Visa® Card comes with Zero Liability protection, which means cardholders will not be responsible for unauthorized use of their card. Zero Liability extends to any purchase made using the Zoompass Prepaid Visa® Card -- in a store, online, or by phone.
128-bit Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) Technology: To access their accounts on the Zoompass website, users must use a browser that supports 128-bit Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption, the most widely used method of securing Internet transactions available today. All pages after the login are protected using SSL technology, as indicated by "https" in the website address or URL.
Firewalls: The computers and servers that run the Zoompass service are protected by firewalls. These firewall systems prevent unauthorized access to the Zoompass network and are constantly monitored to prevent security breaches.
Time-outs: Each Zoompass session will automatically end or "time out" if there has been no activity after a specific period of time. To resume the session, users must re-enter their password or Zoompass PIN.
Notifications: Zoompass sends you SMS text messages and email when there are items that we want you to be aware of, such as money received, money requests, bank transfers, and password or PIN changes.
For added security, we recommend that users monitor their transaction history, which can be viewed using the Zoompass mobile application or mobile site on their mobile phone, or on the Zoompass website.
These security measures are all built into the Zoompass service and provided automatically so you can use Zoompass with confidence. If you have questions or concerns about the security of your information or about your Zoompass account, please contact us at email@example.com or call
